Banner Engineering SBCV1 Multi-Beam Convergent Scanner Block is a 3/4-Wire Scanner Block in Banner’s MULTI-BEAM family, configured for convergent mode with a fixed 38 mm focal point. It requires a compatible Power Block for power and signaling, with input and interconnection determined by the chosen power block rather than a built-in supply. The convergent design enables high-speed detection on compact footprints, with a typical 1 ms response, making it well-suited for presence/absence sensing, edge or gap detection, and alignment checks on automated production lines. As a modular sensing solution, the SBCV1 pairs with Banner’s Power Block to form a complete system connected to common control architectures.
