Banner Engineering SE612FP Fiber Optic Sensor

The Banner Engineering SE612FP Fiber Optic Sensor is an ECONO-BEAM plastic fiber optic sensor designed for use with Banner plastic fiber optics in tight or inaccessible spaces, delivering sensing with a visible red beam at 650 nm. It supports diffuse and opposed mode operation when paired with the appropriate plastic fiber assemblies, and uses a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable with a 10–30 V DC supply and bipolar NPN/PNP outputs. The SE612FP family is part of Banner’s ECONO-BEAM line and is compatible with field-cut plastic fibers that tolerate roughly -30 °C to +70 °C. This sensor is commonly used for presence detection and position sensing on conveyor lines, packaging equipment, and other automation installations where direct sensing is impractical.
