The Banner Engineering SE61R is a compact ECONO-BEAM photoelectric receiver designed for dependable 1.8 m sensing on small to mid‑size automation lines. It runs on 10 to 30 V DC and provides a bipolar output (1 NPN; 1 PNP - LO), enabling straightforward interfacing with common PLCs and control logic. The standard SE61R ships with a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable, while the SE61R W/30 variant extends to a 9 m (30 ft) cable for longer runs. As part of Banner’s ECONO-BEAM family, this receiver works with Banner emitter units to form a complete through‑beam or reflective sensing system, offering reliable object detection and presence sensing for conveyors, packaging lines, and manufacturing cells. The unit is not intrinsically safe, and its 1.8 m sensing distance provides a compact footprint for tight installations without sacrificing clear detection for part presence, end‑of‑travel, or alignment tasks in automated workflows.
