SE61RNC Photoelectric Receiver from Banner Engineering’s ECONO-BEAM family is a compact, self-contained DC photoelectric sensor designed to serve as the receiver in a through-beam setup. It detects objects at up to 1.8 m and runs on 10–30 V DC power. The receiver provides two outputs in a bipolar configuration: one NPN and one PNP, with each output rated to 150 mA, enabling direct switching of small loads or PLC inputs. The version with a 30 ft (9 m) cable (SE61RNC W/30) simplifies wiring over longer spans and aligns with Banner’s guidance that 9 m cables are available by suffixing W/30 to the model. Built as epoxy-encapsulated, solid-state electronics, the SE61RNC requires no field adjustments for straightforward OEM installations and is designed to endure industrial environments. Use cases include integrating with Banner emitters in conveyor or object-detection applications, or as a simple receiver paired with Banner amplifiers when more features are needed. This SE61 family model is intended for general detection tasks where a compact, low-cost receiver is appropriate, delivering reliable sensing without additional external circuitry.
