Banner Engineering SI-MAG1MM Safety Magnetic Switch Actuator

SI-MAG1MM is Banner Engineering’s non-contact magnetic actuator for the SI-MAG safety interlock family, designed to pair with the SI-MAG1SM sensor to form a coded-magnetic interlock for guard doors on industrial equipment. The actuator uses a rectangular coded magnet with a repeat switching accuracy of ±0.1 mm and an 88 × 25 mm footprint (overall size 88 × 25 × 13 mm); mounting holes accept M4 hardware (4.5 mm). Built in a thermoplastic housing, this standard-force actuator carries an IP67 rating and operates at temperatures down to -25°C. The SI-MAG1MM is explicitly noted as obsolete, with Banner advising customers to contact them for a suitable replacement. This actuator half of a two-piece interlock system is intended for safety interlocking and position-monitoring applications on machines such as presses, conveyors, and packaging lines, where a non-contact magnetic switch provides reliable actuation when used with compatible Banner safety controllers or approved equivalents.
