Banner Engineering SI-MAG1SM Magnetic Switch Sensor

The Banner Engineering SI-MAG1SM Magnetic Switch Sensor is a non-contact rectangular magnetic safety interlock switch from the SI-MAG Series, designed to sense a coded magnet mounted on a guard or door and feed a safety controller. It ships with a 3 m (10 ft) cable, and its compact 88 x 25 mm housing accommodates a 3–14 mm actuation distance with repeat switching accuracy of ±0.1 mm. The device is specified for 30 VDC operation and is IP67-rated for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for rugged industrial environments. It is used with SI-MAG1MMxx actuators and is intended for integration with Banner safety controllers or GM-FA-10J safety relays to form a complete safeguarding solution. Common applications include guarding systems on machinery such as presses and conveyors where non-contact actuation provides reliable interlock sensing without mechanical wear.
