Banner Engineering SI-QS-75MC Through-Beam Photoelectric Sensor

The Banner SI-QS75MC is a plastic compact safety interlock switch in a flat-pack, straight-in-line form factor designed to secure machine guards. This single normally open (NO) safety contact interlock uses a thermoplastic housing and measures 75 x 52 x 30 mm, with an IP65 enclosure for dust and water exposure. It operates over -30 to 80 °C and delivers Cat 4 safety with a SIL CL3 rating and a B10d of 2 million operations. The interlock provides one NO contact through a wiring-chamber connection, has no auxiliary output, and is not washdown rated or quick-disconnect compatible; the actuator is inline, and a hinged door requires a minimum size of 150 mm for proper operation. This device is part of Banner’s SI-QS safety interlock family, with variants such as SI-QS75MC-100 offering different mounting/actuator options for higher-force or alternate configurations, making it suitable for guarding doors on automated equipment and other safety-critical access points.
