Banner Engineering SLE10B6VQ Teach Mode Slot Sensor
Banner Engineering SLE10B6VQ Teach Mode Slot Sensor
Description:
The Banner Engineering SLE10B6VQ Teach Mode Slot Sensor is a compact, self-contained fork-style sensor that houses an emitter and receiver in a single slot housing and offers Teach Mode programming for quick, precise setup in tight spaces. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC and provides bipolar outputs (one NPN and one PNP) via a 5‑pin Euro-style quick-disconnect connector. With a 10 mm slot width and a sensing range up to 10 mm, it is well-suited for end-of-travel and presence-detection tasks on small parts or conveyors. Key features include light/dark operate, a dedicated teach button, and optional remote Teach, facilitating flexible installation. The unit is rated IP67 with NEMA 4X protection and handles temperatures from -20 to 60 C with up to 90% humidity at 50 C. A fast 0.5 ms response time and 100 µs repeatability support reliable, repeatable detections, while a 1,000 ms power-on delay stabilizes startup. The SLE10B6VQ uses an acrylic lens and is part of Banner’s Expert Series; it is not intended for personnel protection applications. For installation, simply connect the 5-pin Euro-style QD, apply 10–30 V DC, and train the switch points to your specific part presence using either the Teach button or remote Teach.
