Banner Engineering SLSE30-1200Q8 Light Curtain Emitter is a 30 mm resolution emitter in the EZ-SCREEN SLS family, designed to pair with the SLSR30-1200Q8 receiver to form a protective curtain across automated machinery. It operates from a 24 VDC supply and terminates with an 8‑pin M12 connector for standard Banner field wiring. The device defines a protected height of 1200 mm and employs a 30 mm beam spacing to create a sensing range of 0.1–18 m (4 in to 60 ft). Its housing length is 1,270 mm, enabling stable mounting and alignment with the 1200 mm defined area height. The Tr (response time) for this height configuration is about 23 ms, supporting rapid stop signaling in production environments. Typical applications include safeguarding robot cells, stamping presses, CNC machines, and conveyors where human operators interact with hazardous zones. As the emitter half of a complete EZ-SCREEN SLS system, the SLSE30-1200Q8 is intended to be used with the matching receiver to deliver dense beam coverage across the defined area, leveraging Banner’s 14/30 safety-light curtain technology for reliable protection in industrial settings.
