The Banner Engineering SM2A312FPQD Mini-Beam Plastic Fiber Optic Amplifier is a compact fiber-optic amplifier designed to drive Banner's plastic fiber optic sensors in tight spaces and fast-switching applications. It accepts 24–240 V AC input and provides a SPST solid-state 2-wire output via an integral quick-disconnect (QD) connector, with the sensing range dependent on the fiber used. The unit uses a visible red beam at 650 nm and is part of Banner’s MINI-BEAM fiber-optic amplifier family.
