Banner Engineering's SM2A31RQD Mini-Beam receiver is a self-contained, AC-operated opposed-mode photoelectric sensor that pairs with the SMA31E emitter across a 3 m infrared beam. It operates from 24–240 VAC and provides a SPST solid-state two-wire output via a Micro-style Quick Disconnect connector (the suffix "QD" denotes this option). The 880 nm infrared beam detects interruptions across the 3 m gap, with fast response times of about 2 ms ON and 1 ms OFF, enabling reliable detection of fast-moving parts on conveyors or at end-of-line points.
