The Banner Engineering SM30SRLQD is a 150 m opposed-mode photoelectric receiver in a rugged 30 mm stainless-steel barrel, part of the SM30 series, designed to pair with a matching emitter in Through‑Beam configurations. Operating from 10–30 V DC, it provides bipolar (NPN/PNP) discrete outputs and uses an infrared LED sensing beam (commonly 880 nm) for long-range detection. The receiver is housed in an IP67 enclosure with a NEMA 4X rating and a stainless steel housing, featuring an integral quick-disconnect (QD) connection for straightforward wiring. Maximum sensing distance reaches 150000 mm (150 m) under proper alignment, with the unit serving as the detector side in opposed-mode setups for applications such as conveyors, packaging lines, and automated material-handling systems where long-range, reliable sensing in harsh environments is required.
