The Banner Engineering SM312CVQDP MINI-BEAM convergent photoelectric switch is a compact, DC-powered sensor that uses a visible red 650 nm convergent beam with a 16 mm focal point for close-range detection. It operates from 10–30 V DC and provides a bipolar output (1 NPN and 1 PNP) through a 150 mm M12 quick-disconnect pigtail, with a 0.15 m cable length. The sensor comes in a thermoplastic rectangular housing designed for M18 mounting, and it carries IP67 protection and a NEMA 4X rating, with a sensing mode categorized as Proximity and a detailed Convergent mode. It supports light/dark operate and offers a fast 1 ms response time, with an operating temperature range from −20 °C to 70 °C.
