The Banner Engineering SM312FB is a Mini-Beam fiber-optic amplifier designed for glass-fiber sensors. It operates from a 10–30 VDC supply and provides a four-pin, 2 m cable connection with a bipolar output (NPN and PNP), enabling both sinking and sourcing configurations from a single device. The unit's infrared glass-fiber model sits in a rectangular thermoplastic housing with M18 mounting; it carries an IP67 enclosure rating (NEMA 4X) and accepts glass-fiber terminations, making it suitable for rugged industrial environments.
