The Banner Engineering SM312FP Mini-Beam Fiber Optic Photoelectric Sensor delivers compact, non-contact presence detection in confined spaces across packaging lines, conveyors, and material-handling equipment. It uses fiber-optic sensing with an infrared LED light source and operates on 10 to 30 VDC, offering a bipolar output (1 NPN and 1 PNP) up to 150 mA with a 1 ms response time.
