The Banner Engineering SM312FPGQD is a compact MINI-BEAM fiber-optic photoelectric sensor designed for precise, space-saving detection of small targets in tight work cells. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides bipolar outputs (one NPN and one PNP) through a 4-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect (QD) connector, simplifying wiring in control panels and machine frames. This green-light variant, part of Banner’s MINI-BEAM family, supports selectable dark-on or light-on operation so you can tailor sensing to surface contrast, reflectivity, and color. Sensing is performed via a fiber-optic interface, with the detection range determined by the chosen fiber and installation, giving flexibility from short to longer reach depending on the fiber configuration.
