Banner Engineering SM312FVQD Photoelectric Sensor

The Banner Engineering SM312FVQD is a MINI-BEAM fiber-optic amplifier that uses a visible red 650 nm glass fiber optic link to interface with Banner's fiber sensors, allowing a remote fiber optic probe to trigger discrete outputs. Powered by 10–30 V DC, it delivers a bipolar output (one NPN and one PNP) through a 4-pin M12 integral quick disconnect, and the rectangular thermoplastic housing supports an M18 mounting option for panel or guard-rail installations. The device carries IP67 and NEMA 4X ratings, and accepts glass-fiber terminations; indicators include a red LED to show amplifier status. Because range is fiber-dependent, the SM312FVQD has no fixed sensing distance published; the actual range is determined by the fiber length and configuration used in your mini-beam system.
