Banner Engineering SM312LPQD is a MINI-BEAM polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor in the DC Voltage Series, designed for reliable object detection on conveyors, packaging lines, and assembly cells. It operates from a 10-30 V DC supply and provides a bipolar dual-output: 1 NPN and 1 PNP, enabling both sinking and sourcing logic from a single device, with a 4-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect (QD) connector for simple field wiring. The sensing range spans from 10 mm to 3 m, using polarized retroreflective mode to improve performance with reflective labels, metal parts, or glossy targets, and making it well-suited for environments where ambient light can interfere with detection.
