The Banner SM312LVQD MINI-BEAM photoelectric sensor is a self-contained DC-powered retroreflective receiver designed for reliable detection at up to 5 meters. It operates on 10–30 V DC and delivers a bipolar NPN/PNP output via a 4-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect, enabling easy integration into either sinking or sourcing logic. This retroreflective model uses a built-in emitter and receiver configured for non-polarized retroreflection, making it well-suited for conveyors, packaging lines, and other setups where a reflector is placed opposite the sensor. The SM312LVQD features a fast 1 ms response time and a red power-on LED indicator, aligning with Banner’s compact MINI-BEAM family for straightforward mounting and quick diagnostics.
