Banner Engineering SM312LVQDP Photoelectric Sensor

The Banner Engineering SM312LVQDP Photoelectric Sensor uses non-polarized retroreflective sensing to reliably detect the presence or absence of objects on conveyors and packaging lines at distances up to 5 meters. Part of the MINI-BEAM SM312 Series, it uses a visible red LED (650 nm) as the light source, operates on 10–30 VDC, and provides bipolar outputs (1 NPN and 1 PNP) with up to 150 mA per output and a 1 ms response time. It offers selectable Light or Dark operate modes, a 4‑pin M12 quick‑disconnect, and a 150 mm (6 in) cable, with a rectangular housing and an M18 threaded lens mount. Constructed for harsh industrial environments, the sensor features reinforced thermoplastic polyester housing, acrylic lens, IP67 protection, and a NEMA 4X rating, with operating temperature from -20°C to +70°C, supporting panel or bracket mounting with potentiometer-based sensitivity adjustment and LED status indicators.
