Banner Engineering SM31E-26884 Photoelectric Sensor

SM31E-26884 is Banner Engineering’s MINI-BEAM DC Voltage Series emitter for opposed-mode sensing, designed to pair with a compatible SM31R receiver to form a compact through-beam or opposed-sensing system. It operates from 10–30 V DC with a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable and uses an infrared LED at 880 nm, delivering a 3 m sensing beam with no electrical output of its own. The unit is IP67-rated and NEMA 4X, enabling reliable performance in dusty or wet industrial environments. In typical applications, it functions as the light-emitting half of the beam in automation lines to detect the presence or absence of small parts across a light path, such as on conveyors or in packaging operations, when paired with Banner’s receivers.
