Banner Engineering SM31ELMKQD Photoelectric Sensor is a MINI-BEAM DC emitter designed for through-beam sensing in industrial automation. It delivers a 30 m sensing range when paired with a compatible receiver, and operates on 10–30 V DC with a 2 m cable, enabling easy integration with Banner's quick-disconnect wiring options. Its thermoplastic, rectangular housing is IP67-rated and supports M18 mounting, with an operating temperature range from -20 to +70 C. The emitter uses an infrared LED at 880 nm and has a two-conductor connection, reflecting its role as the emitter half of a through-beam pair; its compact footprint measures about 53.3 mm long, 12.2 mm wide, and 30.7 mm high, making it suitable for installations on conveyors, packaging lines, and other machinery where long-range sensing is required.
