Banner Engineering SM31ELQDP Photoelectric Sensor

SM31ELQDP is Banner Engineering’s MINI-BEAM opposed-mode emitter for long-range photoelectric sensing, delivering up to 30 m of range when paired with a compatible receiver. It’s a DC-powered device that operates on 10–30 V DC and uses an infrared LED sensing beam. The unit ships with a 0.15 m (6 in) four-pin M12 quick-disconnect cable and features a rectangular thermoplastic housing with M18 mounting, designed for rugged environments with IP67 and NEMA 4X protection. This emitter forms the sending leg of an opposed pair and is part of Banner’s Mini-Beam DC family; the QDP suffix denotes the included 6 in pigtail, while the receiver completes the sensing circuit. The SM31ELQDP’s combination of long range, compact form, and durable construction makes it suitable for industrial automation applications such as material handling and on-line manufacturing where a reliable long-range light source is required.
