Banner Engineering SM31RL Photoelectric Sensor Receiver

The Banner Engineering SM31RL Mini-Beam Receiver is a compact, long-range photoelectric sensor designed to pair with Banner’s SM31 emitters in a through-beam configuration. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides a bipolar output (one NPN and one PNP) for straightforward interfacing to PLCs or logic circuits, with a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable included for simple mounting. The receiver delivers up to a 30 m sensing range, making it well suited for conveyor lines, part-presence sensing, and other automation tasks where a remote light beam is interrupted. Common installations use the SM31RL with SM31EM/SM31EML emitters in opposed-mode setups to reliably detect objects across gaps or through packaging and containers.
