Banner Engineering SM31RPDQD Photoelectric Sensor

The Banner Engineering SM31RPDQD is a compact Mini-Beam photoelectric sensor from Banner’s DC Voltage Mini-Beam family, designed for quick-disconnect (QD) installations and carrying part number 26890. It uses a visible red light source at 650 nm and includes a rear-mounted red LED indicator on the receiver to show power and sensing status. This RPDQD variant features an integral quick-disconnect connector for fast field wiring and provides either NPN or PNP outputs with selectable Dark-On/Light-On operation. Engineered for 30 V DC operation, the SM31 line is tailored to compact sensing tasks on automation lines, with ranges up to 300 mm in related configurations, making it suitable for parts detection in tight spaces on conveyors and packaging equipment.
