The Banner Engineering SM51EB Photoelectric Emitter is the metal-housed, DC-powered component of Banner’s SM51 opposed-mode beam sensor pair, designed to work with the SM51RB receiver for through-beam detection on industrial lines. This emitter operates on 10–30 VDC and, when paired with the corresponding SM51RB, forms a beam that detects interruption across up to 30 ft (9 m). The SM51 series uses a rugged metal housing suited to harsh factory environments. The compact form factor supports mounting on conveyors, packaging lines, and other automation stations where reliable beam sensing is required.
