Banner Engineering SM51RB Photoelectric Receiver

The Banner SM51RB Photoelectric Receiver is a DC-powered, opposed-mode receiver in the SM51 series, housed in a die-cast metal body with totally encapsulated circuitry for rugged industrial environments. It delivers up to 8 meters of sensing range, and operates on 10–30 V DC with complementary NPN outputs (one normally open and one normally closed) that can interface with Banner MICRO-AMP or MAXI-AMP logic modules as well as other dc loads. The unit ships with a 2-meter, shielded four-conductor cable, and a single-turn sensitivity adjustment is accessible by removing the nylon side screw. A red LED at the rear indicates when the beam is being received, and the 1/2-inch-wide SM51RB design supports close side-by-side mounting for curtain or line-scan applications.
