Banner Engineering SM81E Photoelectric Emitter Modulated LED Sensor

The Banner Engineering SM81E is a photoelectric emitter that provides a modulated infrared light source for Banner's self-contained and modular sensing systems. As the emitter component, it supplies light to a matching receiver in configurations such as opposed-mode or through-beam, enabling reliable detection by the receiver of a modulated beam. In Banner installations, an Alignment Indicating Device (AID) lights and pulses when the receiver detects the emitter, aiding quick alignment and setup for automation tasks like conveyors, packaging lines, and general presence sensing.
