The Banner Engineering SM912CVQD VALU-BEAM photoelectric sensor uses a visible red 650 nm convergent beam with a fixed focal point of 38 mm to detect small targets at a precise distance, making it well suited for compact installations on conveyors and packaging equipment. It operates from a 10–30 V DC supply and provides a bipolar output (one NPN and one PNP) through a 4‑pin Mini Integral Quick Disconnect, enabling wiring for either sinking or sourcing configurations. The unit ships with an integral 7/8 in quick-disconnect connector and is part of Banner's rugged VALU-BEAM family, designed for industrial environments and easy integration with Banner amplifiers and controllers.
