Banner Engineering SMA30SEL Photoelectric Sensor Emitter

Banner Engineering SMA30SEL is the emitter half of Banner’s SM30 through-beam photoelectric sensor family, delivering up to 150 m of sensing range with an infrared beam and a rugged stainless-steel 30 mm barrel housing. It operates from a universal AC/DC supply (10–30 V DC or 12–240 V AC) and provides no internal output signal, making it the emitter in a paired Banner SM30 receiver system in opposed-mode operation. The standard configuration includes a 2 m (6.5 ft) cable, while an extended-cable variant SMA30SEL-W-30 is available with a 9 m (30 ft) cable for longer installations. Built to endure harsh industrial environments, this emitter is IP67-rated and suitable for washdown applications, aligning with NEMA 4X protection expectations. Designed for use with SM30 Series receivers, it enables long-range detection across open spaces—ideal for conveyors, packaging lines, and machine-access sensing where a robust, noncontact sensing solution is required.
