SME312LPC is Banner Engineering’s Mini‑Beam Expert polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor, designed for small‑part detection in tight spaces. It uses a 650 nm visible red beam and a polarized retroreflective sensing mode to detect targets when paired with a reflector, delivering a 1 m sensing range with the supplied reflector. The unit operates on a 10–30 V DC supply and provides dual outputs (one NPN and one PNP) in a bipolar configuration to ease interfacing with both sinking and sourcing logic. A 2 m potted cable is included with the standard SME312LPC, and a longer 9 m cable version is available as SME312LPC W/30 for extended reach.
