Banner Engineering's SMW915FW30 VALU-BEAM glass-fiber photoelectric sensor delivers rugged, self-contained presence sensing with a 30 ft (9 m) integral cable and SPDT electromechanical relay output for straightforward control in industrial lines. Part of the VALU-BEAM 915 Series, the sensor is epoxy-encapsulated to resist shock, vibration, moisture, and corrosion, making it suitable for conveyor and production-line applications. It operates from 12–28 V AC/DC and relies on a glass-fiber optic tail to position the sensing head in tight or inaccessible spaces while keeping the electronics enclosed. Mounting is flexible, with through-mount holes for front or rear installation or a threaded base with a mounting nut, and a top-mounted red LED indicator lights when the sensor detects its modulated light source, aiding alignment and monitoring.
