Banner Engineering SP300RL Remote Sensor System
Banner Engineering SP300RL Remote Sensor System
Description:
The Banner SP300RL Remote Sensor System is a compact, rugged remote sensor in Banner’s SP300 family designed for use with MAXI-AMP modular amplifiers. In Banner’s SP300 remote-sensor lineup, SP300EL, SP300L, SP300RL, and SP300D share an anodized aluminum housing and a glass lens, with SP320D noted as a different housing material in the same catalog family. SP300L is described as a remote retroreflective sensor, and SP300RL is included as part of the same remote-sensor family, forming a through-system arrangement when paired with the appropriate Banner electronics. The SP300RL uses Banner’s MAXI-AMP extension approach and is specified to work with extension cables (ESC-100) for remote connections in MAXI-AMP setups. For the SP300L subset, the documented sensing range reaches up to 15 feet, with a minimum range around 6 feet, reflecting its use in industrial environments where stable remote sensing is needed. This remote sensor system is designed to operate with Banner’s remote-sensor ecosystem, enabling reliable detection in applications such as material handling, packaging, and automation lines where compact, enclosed optics and rugged construction are important.
