Banner Engineering SP320D-W-30 Remote Sensor

SP320D-W-30 is Banner Engineering’s miniature diffuse‑mode remote sensor, designed to detect reflective objects up to 12 inches (30 cm) away in tight spaces, housed in a rugged black VALOX enclosure with a hermetically sealed lens. It uses an infrared emitter at 880 nm and ships with 6 feet of low‑profile PVC‑covered 4‑conductor cable; 30‑foot versions are available by suffix, with the SP320D‑W‑30 delivering a 30 ft (9 m) lead. The sensor mounts using two #4 screws and is intended for diffuse reflection presence sensing in compact machinery or automation lines. It is compatible with Banner MICRO-AMP MA3-4/MA3-4P amplifiers, MAXI-AMP CM Series amplifiers, and MB Series amplifiers, enabling flexible remote sensing configurations across multiple amplifier platforms. The SP320D‑W‑30 is specified for operation from −40 to +80 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments, including wash‑down settings, while maintaining compact form factor and reliable performance.
