Banner Engineering STBVP6 Optical Touch Button Sensor

The STBVP6 is Banner Engineering's STB Series Self-Checking Optical Touch Button designed as a safety touch input for guarding circuits and two-hand control configurations. It is powered from 10–30 V DC with a four-conductor cable and provides a complementary PNP output (Normally Open or Normally Closed) with up to 75 mA load and a 20 ms response time, using single-point optical sensing. The unit features a base-mount saddle with M30 x 1.5 threads, a black polyetherimide housing, and a yellow field cover, with dimensions of 68 x 51 x 100 mm and IP66 protection for washdown environments; it includes a 2 m integral cable. It operates in environments up to 90% relative humidity at 50 C and is compatible with Banner Two-Hand Control modules (DUO-TOUCH SG) for safety circuit configurations.
