The Banner STBVR81 Self-Checking Optical Touch Button Switch delivers hands-free actuation with built-in fault monitoring for safety and automation applications. As part of the STB Series, it uses a single-point optical sensor and provides two independent, complementary dry-contact relays that can be wired normally open or normally closed. Powered from 20–30 V AC or DC and shipped with a 2 m integral cable, the unit lives in a black thermoplastic polyetherimide housing with a yellow field cover and mounts via an M30 x 1.5 thread in a base-mount saddle configuration. Its rugged IP66 enclosure, combined with NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 12, 13 ratings, makes it suitable for dirty or wet industrial environments.
