The Banner Engineering T186UEUSNT is a T18U Series opposed‑mode ultrasonic sensor pair designed for non‑contact presence and distance sensing in industrial automation. It detects objects from 300 mm to 600 mm away at 230 kHz, delivering a quick response time suitable for high‑speed conveyors, bins, and similar equipment. The unit uses a 4‑pin connection with a M12 quick‑disconnect and a rugged M18 barrel thread for robust mounting. It operates from the general industrial temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C and is not washdown rated. The model supports clear object detection and is intended for ultrasonic applications where optical sensors struggle with irregular surfaces or dirty environments.
