Banner Engineering USE424YI Safety Light Emitter Receiver

Banner Engineering USE424YI is a Micro-SCREEN 4-inch (102 mm) emitter that builds an eight-beam safety curtain when paired with the matching USR424YI receiver. This Standard Series component is designed for compact machine guarding in spaces where a full-size safety light curtain is impractical, such as around presses, robotic cells, and conveyors. The emitter is available in a 30 mm quick-disconnect cable configuration (USE424YP2) to simplify wiring, and it is intended to be paired with a receiver of the same screen height and beam count to form the defined sensing area. For complete Micro-SCREEN installations, Banner offers kits that include a control box, along with an emitter and receiver of equal length and beam count. In typical applications, the emitter and receiver cooperate to monitor each beam; if any beam is interrupted, a safe-stop or interlock signal can be generated via a compatible safety controller.
