The Banner Engineering VS3AP5XLPQ5-67049 Vision Sensor is a compact VS3 Series miniature sensor with advanced optics designed for tight-space positioning and part-detection in industrial environments. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides a PNP output via a 3‑pin cable, with a maximum sensing distance of 250 mm in retroreflective mode and polarized (coaxial) sensing for improved detection of reflective targets. The unit features an IP67/NEMA 4X-rated thermoplastic rectangular housing, a 2 m cable, and a visible red LED sensing beam, making it suitable for rugged, hazardous or wet environments where space is at a premium. It supports a power-up delay of 150 ms, a repeatability of about 160 µs, and an operating temperature range of -20 to 55 °C, with a maximum humidity of 80% at 50 °C.
