Banner Engineering's VS8LEJ is a miniature red-laser emitter in the VS8 series, designed for precise opposed-mode detection in tight spaces, delivering a visible red beam over a 0–3 m range. It operates on 10–30 V DC with a fixed 2 m PUR cable, and as an emitter it does not provide a separate output signal. The unit features a glass-fiber-reinforced plastic housing rated IP67 and NEMA 4X for harsh industrial environments, and it is specified for beam-inhibit operation within opposed-mode configurations.
