The Banner Engineering OTBVP6QDH Optical Touch Button is a rugged, momentary-action input for industrial control panels, part of Banner’s OPTO-TOUCH OTB Series. It operates on 10–30 V DC and provides a complementary PNP (sourcing) output via a 4-pin M12 integral quick-disconnect, with a single-beam optical sensing element for reliable touch detection. The black-cover variant (OTBVP6QDH) uses a polysulfone upper housing, while the OTBVP6QDH W/Y variant uses a polycarbonate upper housing and a yellow field cover for high visibility, both designed for base-mount saddle installation through an M30 x 1.5 thread and a 30 mm mounting hole. The enclosure measures 59.9 × 43.2 × 48.0 mm, carries an IP66 rating, and supports operation from −20 to 50 °C. It is a momentary device with a maximum response time of 100 ms for both input and output paths, suitable for compact, rugged touch input on industrial control systems.
