The Banner Engineering SM312DQD is a compact Mini‑Beam diffuse photoelectric sensor with a 380 mm sensing range and a 10–30 V DC supply, designed for presence detection where space is limited. It provides a bipolar discrete output (1 NPN and 1 PNP) through a 4‑pin M12 integral quick disconnect, enabling easy integration into control circuits that require both signaling types. The sensing beam uses an infrared LED, and the unit features a thermoplastic, encapsulated rectangular housing with an 18 mm barrel and M18 mounting compatibility, rated for rugged environments with IP67 and NEMA 4X protection.
