Barber-Colman MP-361-0-0-1 Actuator

The Barber-Colman MP-361-0-0-1 Actuator is a compact, rugged 24 VAC, 60 Hz spring-return actuator in Barber-Colman's MP-3xx family, built for HVAC damper and valve control. It provides a full 180° travel with a 90-second cycle, and delivers about 50 in‑lb of torque for moderate damper loads. When energized, the output rotates CCW; when power is removed, the internal spring returns the output to CW, delivering fail-safe operation in the event of a loss of power. An integrated switch provides position feedback to HVAC controllers, enabling straightforward control logic and dependable monitoring of damper position. The MP-361 is commonly paired with Barber-Colman Microtherm controllers and valve assemblies in commercial and industrial HVAC applications, and this lineage continues under Schneider Electric, which now owns the Barber-Colman family and maintains the MP-3xx/4xx actuator line.
