Barksdale BFS10-N Adjustable Water Flow Sensor Switch

The Barksdale BFS10-N Adjustable Water Flow Sensor Switch is a compact, mechanical flow switch designed to monitor water movement in low‑flow systems and drive control logic on a simple SPDT output. Its setpoint is continuously adjustable from 4 to 20 LPM, enabling precise pump control or alarm triggering in water lines, cooling loops, and other process piping. The device uses a variable‑area flow meter principle and has a G1/2" threaded connection for straightforward installation into standard piping. Electrical output is SPDT with a 230 VAC, 3 A (60 VA) rating for the normally open contact, with a 250 VAC, 1.5 A (50 VA) rating for the WE variant. The BFS-10-N is offered without optical indication, making it suitable for control panels and systems where a separate signal is preferred. When flow falls below the setpoint, the switch changes state to drive pumps or alarms, while rising flow maintains the opposite state. Typical applications include water supply lines, cooling circuits, and other fluid-handling systems that require a reliable, adjustable flow signal without built-in indicators.
