Barksdale D1T-A3 Pressure or Vacuum Actuated Switch

Barksdale D1T-A3 Pressure or Vacuum Actuated Switch is a rugged, housed diaphragm switch in the D1T family designed for precise single-point actuation in industrial control circuits. It offers a single-setpoint, SPDT output with ratings of 10 A at 125/250 VAC and 3 A at 480 VAC (Class A or H limits), and it is suitable for either positive pressure or vacuum signals via a 1/4" NPT pressure connection and a terminal-block through 1/2" NPT conduit. Built for harsh environments, the wetted parts are stainless steel (304 and 17-7 PH as appropriate), and the enclosure is aluminum with a NEMA 4 rating to resist dust, water, and incidental external moisture. The D1T/D2T line provides an accuracy of ±0.5% of the adjustable range and supports ranges that span from vacuum up to as high as 150 psi (10.3 bar), depending on the exact model configuration; UL and CSA approvals are available on request. Common applications include controlling compressors, pumps, and process lines in oil and gas, chemical processing, and other industrial automation environments where a reliable actuation point is required.
