Barnstead D8902 Ultrapure Water Filtration Cartridge

The Barnstead D8902 Ultrapure Hose Nipple Cartridge is a full-size mixed-bed ion-exchange cartridge designed for non-pressure water purification in laboratory hose-nipple systems. Using ultrapure mixed-bed resin, it removes both cations and anions to produce Type I ultrapure water and includes a color indicator to signal nearing depletion. The cartridge measures about 18.7 inches long and uses 3/8" hose-nipple fittings for compatibility with standard Barnstead holders, with a resin capacity rated at 915 grains (as NaCl) and an output rate up to roughly 75 L/hr in suitable setups. As part of the Barnstead Ultrapure family, this cartridge is intended for applications requiring low ionic content, such as calibrations, reagent preparation, and instrumentation that rely on Type I water.
