Description:

Barry Controls E21-02-50 Low Profile Vibration Isolator is a plate-type, low-profile mount from the E Series designed for vibration and shock protection of lightweight electronic equipment in all attitudes. It uses a Hi-Damp Silicone elastomer, with axial-to-radial stiffness of 1:1, and is constructed from aluminum with a zinc-plated core, weighing about 0.023 lb per mount. Rated for up to 10 lb per mount, it can survive a 30 g, 11 ms half-sine shock input at the rated load, offering a fail-safe design for reliability. The mount provides a natural frequency of 25–40 Hz and a maximum transmissibility at resonance around 4.0, suitable for isolating target frequencies without adding significant installation height. Operating temperature range is -67°F to 300°F (-55°C to 150°C) with storage between -100°F and 300°F (-75°C to 150°C); the elastomer is fungus- and ozone-resistant and compliant with MIL-E-5400 environmental requirements. Typical applications include avionics in commercial and military aircraft, missile electronics, ruggedized disk drives, and other equipment subject to random vibration in constrained spaces. As part of Barry Controls’ E Mount Series, E21-02-50 delivers low-profile, all-attitude isolation for equipment where space and weight are at a premium.
