Description:

Basler Electric AVC63-4A Automatic Voltage Regulator is a solid-state excitation control device used in brushless generator systems to maintain stable AC output. It regulates generator field excitation by monitoring sensed AC voltage in the 190–240 VAC input range and adjusting DC field current to stabilize output under varying load conditions. The AVR operates at 50/60 Hz and delivers up to 4 A of continuous DC field excitation current (with short-term forcing capability). Regulation accuracy is approximately ±1% from no-load to full-load, achieved through closed-loop voltage sensing with frequency compensation. It is designed for panel or generator terminal box installation and is commonly used in diesel generator sets, standby power systems, and industrial alternators, typically in OEM control panels or as a replacement for failed AVC63-series units. Replacements include Basler AVC63-7 and Stamford SX460 AVR.
