Basler Electric BE1-50 51M-209 Overcurrent Relay

The Basler Electric BE1-50/51M-209 is a self-powered, single-phase time and instantaneous overcurrent relay designed for overload and fault protection of generators, transformers, feeders, and motors. Powered from the 50/60 Hz system with no external supply, it accepts current from a current transformer with a five-amp secondary and is offered in five- or one-amp CT configurations, with the BE1-50/51M-209 variant using the horizontal Case Style C1 mounting. It supports single-phase, two-phase-with-neutral, three-phase, and three-phase-with-neutral input configurations and provides both 50 instantaneous and 51M time-overcurrent protections with field-selectable curves and a continuously adjustable pickup. Time-element settings range from 0.5 to 15.9 A and instantaneous settings from 1.0 to 99.0 A; an optional second independent instantaneous element is available to reduce arc-flash hazards, and the relay offers easy in-case testing, drawout construction, and retrofit compatibility with multiple mounting options.
