Basler Electric BE1-60P4 Voltage Balance Relay
Basler Electric BE1-60P4 Voltage Balance Relay
Description:
The Basler Electric BE1-60 Voltage Balance Relay is a fast-responding protective relay designed to block other devices from misoperation when a sensing fault occurs in a potential transformer circuit, such as a blown fuse. It accepts single-phase or three-phase input configurations and uses a programmable differential limit switch that can be set from 5% to 50% of the nominal voltage in 5% increments to suit your system. Each BE1-60 supports two circuits with two normally open outputs (one per circuit) and instantaneous output operation, with optional electronically latched status indicators for Circuit 1 and Circuit 2, plus optional front-panel test pushbuttons and a target reset switch for on-site testing and status review. The unit is designed to minimize sensing burden and battery load through its low-burden power supply architecture, and it provides clear status annunciation via LED indicators. Power is available from multiple supply types and ranges to suit different installations, including low-voltage 24 VDC (12–32 VDC operating range), medium-voltage 48/125 VDC (24–150 VDC range), AC 120 VAC (90–132 VAC range), and high-voltage 250 VDC/240 VAC (62–280 VDC or 90–270 VAC ranges). Configuration and operation are supported by Basler Electric’s straightforward HMI, with test paddles enabling convenient verification of outputs without altering system wiring. This relay is intended for protective relay systems in power distribution and generator protection schemes, providing reliable, repeatable high-speed response to preserve upstream equipment and system integrity.
